AKC Pedigree
5-Generation Pedigree
Height: 23 inches
Weight: 42 lbs.
OFA Health Verification (CHIC #52943) . Her mom is also CHIC'd, meaning she has had extensive testing done on her, and passed all tests.
Hips: PennHIP test (reference #875652) revealed 0.45 right and 0.55 left laxities. A laxity greater than 0.70 means the dog is at high risk of developing hip dysplasia and, conversely, a laxity of 0.30 means they have a very low risk of developing hip dysplasia. Misty's results are right in the middle. Misty's dad has OFA Preliminary "Good" hips and Misty's mom tested "Fair" with OFA.
Thyroid: OFA PO-TH1230/15F-VPI "Normal".
Ataxia (Neonatal Encephalopathy) DNA Results: "Clear" by parentage.
Von Willebrands DNA Results: "Clear" by parentage; meaning she can never get it and can't pass it to her
offspring.
Eyes: CERF clear (POS-5832)
Sebaceous Adenitis:"Normal" per OFA PO-SA2642/15F-VPl
DNA Coat Color: BBEe black (silver) with hidden cream-white-red-apricot genes (per DDC Veterinary Report 16207). What can you expect from this? Since she is silver, she would be affected by the dilute gene (dd), meaning her pups' coats have a 100% chance of fading if she is bred to another dd dog, a 75% chance if bred to a Dd (dilute gene carrier) dog, but would not fade if bred to a DD dog. Clearly, with silvers, the goal is to pair dd dogs (or perhaps a dd with a Dd dog).
10-Generation Co-Efficiency of Inbreeding: 2.02%. What is this?
Misty's Ancestors:
Silver parents, with MANY domestic and foreign champions in her line.

Misty has a great personality. She is very social, sweet and loving with us and with strangers, but don't let her sweet nature or her smaller size fool you. She is incredibly smart, is an excellent marker and is proving to be a very hardy hunting dog. We truly enjoy watching her work. She has great mouth habits and does not even leave a mark on birds or other objects she retrieves. She is well on her way to being a GREAT hunting dog in both skill and temperament, all the while remaining a valued member of our family. Misty completed the first pass toward her NAHRA (North American Hunting Retriever Association) Started Retriever title on 12/07/08.
Misty was a very young pup in the 4 lower pictures to the left. She is MUCH more silver now. Silver pups are born black and gradually fade to silver, reaching their adult coat color by the time they are 2-1/2 years of age.
Thank you Susan Cook (Marquis Diamond Standard Poodles) for trusting us enough to sell us such a wonderful, sweet girl for our training and breeding program. |
