Cali is the offspring of two of our hunting stars, SR Titan, WC, JH, WCX, SH and SR Misty, WC, JH, WCX.
Cali's mom, Misty, is a very calm, loving, extremely focused and obedient medium-sized girl (23" tall) who has more heart than most large dogs when it comes to a desire to work and please. (She has often carried very large waterfowl that closely match her own size--never stopping until she delivers to hand.) Titan (a larger dog at 26" tall and 70 lbs) not only loves to work, but has a pedigree filled with amazingly beautiful, well-championed dogs.
Cali already shows great promise, combining the best of both parents. We chose her out of a litter of 8 pups, not only for her retrieve drive, but also for her structure, which should contribute significantly to her ability to work without injury. She is highly intelligent, wants to please, and is just down-right georgous. We could not be happier with our choice of pups.
Cali will be completely silver as an adult. Silvers are born black, gradually fading to silver by the time they reach 2 years of age.
